Is Coolsculpting Safe or not

Are you looking for a safe, non-invasive treatment to get rid of the unwanted fat in your body?

You would have heard of many techniques to get rid of the most stubborn fat in your body. Maybe you have even tried a lot of them as well. However, you don't seem to find the right one for you, something that could effectively reduce fat from certain parts of your body.

And in search of other possible techniques present with the doctor, you might have stumbled across this innovative technique called cool sculpting. You read about it, watched a few videos on it, heard people speak highly of the procedure, and even looked for a cool sculpting treatment in Austin.

But you are worried, you want to know how safe the procedure actually is and whether it is wise to go with it.

So, how safe is it?

Well, you must know that the US Food and Drug Administration has certified Coolsculpting treatment in Austin as a safe and innovative treatment which means it's as safe as considered by the standards.

That said, people with certain conditions should avoid this sort of treatment because it could lead to some serious complications later on.

Which are these conditions?

There are three: cryoglobulinemia, cold agglutinin disease, and paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria.

If you have any of these pre-existing conditions, experts say, you need to stay away from the cool sculpting treatment. Even if you don't have these conditions, it's wise to consult a doctor before you go through with this treatment.

Learn about the risks and possible side effects

Apart from the people with the above-mentioned conditions, it's perfectly safe for anyone to reduce their body fat through cool sculpting. However, it should be established here that the procedure isn't a treatment for obesity and can only reduce fat from only some parts of the body.

Now that's out of the way, there are certain risks and side effects during and after the procedure that you need to be aware of if you are going forward with it. These side effects are:

Tugging sensation: During the procedure, the part of your body under treatment could feel as being tugged. This sort of sensation could go on for a couple of hours. It's because the surgeon puts your fat between two cooling panels.

Pain: The parts of your body where the treatment is done could ache for a few days after the treatment is done.

Redness or swelling: The treated parts of your body could show some signs of redness or maybe swell or bruise. This is mainly due to the extreme cold temperatures but it won't give you frostbite.

Paradoxical adipose hyperplasia: In this rare side effect, found mostly in men, the fat increases at the treated portion instead of being reduced. It's frightening for some but it's very rare.

Last but not least, it is always important to consult an experienced doctor who would be the right person to guide you throughout. He will be able to judge the severity of your condition in order to suggest the right procedure that will be suitable for you.
